Whether you're looking to place an infant, toddler, or school-age child, we pride ourselves in meeting the needs of your child in an enriching, fun-filled environment. Our focus on social-emotional, physical, and intellectual development is at the core of our daily schedule and activities.

Here at the Lighthouse we focus on developing the whole child through daily math, language arts, science, and art lessons and activities. We use the High Scope math curriculum to teach children ages 2-5 algebra, geometry, number sense and operations, measurement, and data analysis in a developmentally appropriate, play-based format. Additionally, preschool children get ready for Kindergarden through our daily use of Zoophonics to learn letter sounds and master letter recognition. During circle time children continue their language development through singing, story time, and additional small and large group activities which revolve around a weekly theme.

Daily Before/After School Care

School age children are dropped off at and picked up from select schools including Legacy Elementary, Mt. Mahagony Elementary, Lincoln Academy, and Forbes Elementary School. Following after school snack, children with homework are given one on one assistance as needed. After homework and individual reading, children are able to choose one of multiple centers to play in including blocks and manipulatives, library, computers (educational games only with 20 minute time limit), STEM room, dramatic play, puzzles, or the Disney room.
